DropWave
Gyndore's first community campaign on Base brought together collectors, partner projects, and early supporters. Season 1 has ended. This is the record of its Chips, GynPoints, and rewards.

Season 1 in review
DropWave recognized activity across Base before Gyndore's mainnet launch. Participants collected Chips, badges awarded for wallet history, ecosystem participation, and social contributions. Each Chip added GynPoints to a public campaign score.
The campaign gave existing Base users credit for their activity and introduced them to other projects. It ran separately from the protocol, with no contracts of its own. Chips and points recorded participation; borrowing, trading, and staking remained separate products.
How it worked
- Create a profile. Participants connected an X account, then linked the Base wallet whose history they wanted to use.
- Explore the board. Each Chip showed its requirement and GynPoints value, with categories for ecosystem, general, and social activity.
- Verify and collect. Qualifying onchain or social activity unlocked the claim. Successful claims added the Chip and its points to the profile.
- Track progress. The dashboard brought together collected Chips, total points, rank, and the public leaderboard.

Collecting Chips
Chips turned different kinds of contribution into a visible collection. Some recognized activity already completed on Base; others encouraged participants to explore a partner or support Gyndore.
| Category | What it recognized |
|---|---|
| Ecosystem | Holding qualifying tokens or using projects across Base and Gyndore’s partner ecosystem. |
| General | Wallet history, transaction count, wallet age, and milestones in the Chip collection. |
| Social | Following Gyndore and participating projects, sharing content, and other qualifying social contributions. |

A Chip's point value reflected its requirement. Longstanding wallet activity and deeper ecosystem participation could carry more weight than a quick social action. The board grouped claims by progress so participants could see what was ready, still in progress, locked, or already collected.
GynPoints & collector tiers
GynPoints determined leaderboard position. They were a campaign score, not a token balance, and had no fixed conversion into GYND, bGYND, or another asset.
Collector tiers reflected relative rank: Whale for the top 5%, Shark through the top 15%, Dolphin through the top 30%, Crab through the top 55%, and Shrimp for the remaining collectors. A tier could change as other participants earned points.

The partner ecosystem
Twelve official partners took part across Season 1. Their branded Chips connected the campaign with communities across Base. Select a Chip to see the project and its official X account.
These relationships continue beyond DropWave. The Partnerships page covers Gyndore's wider collaborations and how projects can get in touch.
Campaign rewards
DropWave's dedicated allocation is 300,000 GYND, or 3% of the fixed 10 million supply, backing rewards distributed exclusively as bGYND to eligible participants. DropWave rewards and participation in the GLB are separate.
Each bGYND is backed by one GYND. The bonded token connects rewards to the protocol through staking and unbonding. Read GYND & bGYND for the token mechanics and unbonding conditions.
